Here's what comes from within my heart/mind to consider on this stunning early fall day. "Gather your resources, Teammate. They are vast, they are powerful! Turn toward the witnesses who now surround you to remind you that everyone who lives in human form is truly spirit, truly of energy -- not material. The material form appears to give you access to the worldly life where you can use your resources to manifest greatness. Therein lies your reason for being in this form -- to live the human life to its fullest potential!"

And so I consider these words, this message that assures me that I have access to great resources which I can use to live life to its fullest potential. I am energy, not limited physical substance. My Mind can/does touch these resources of vitality, optimism, assurance and as I quiet my brain activity, my mind opens to answers to all that I deem important in my life. Good ideas flood my Mind, and along with these ideas come the means to carry them out.

Non-Religious Spiritual Truth -- Just Ask!

Each person comes into his or her lifetime with a purpose -- a Good/God purpose. To understand that purpose and to recognize your own personal Truth, you and I only need to center quietly -- to empty our minds of the worldly concerns and activities -- and to simply BE. To reach that state of Beingness does take practice. I practiced for weeks because I was simply determined that my life must hold more than it was at that time.

Finally, in that deep quiet, I detected words which I wrote down. But, excited and used to taking charge, I pushed ahead on my own. The flow of words then stopped. Over and over again I went deep within, and finally when the flow of words began, I was able to let them flow without directing them in any particular direction.

What resulted? I learned that God is not just a Being, as I had thought. God is total Good available to me because God is Energy/Spirit and so am I. When I let go of my worldly thoughts and old religious concepts, I learned that I AM a Being that lives forever, a Being that is living this particular lifetime in this body and in these circumstances. Church friends could not accept these books, and I learned that they felt I had betrayed my Christian faith. However, I knew that I had not betrayed my faith, I had awakened to my faith that God is so much more than I had ever known. My whole life blossomed, and I knew a deeper joy than I had ever known.

Wanting More Out of Life

After years of church attendance and being part of Sunday Schools and Vacation Bible Schools, I demanded from God, as I understood God, more out of my life. I wanted more deep-down satisfaction; I desired to write and to be published; I wanted more abundance of all kinds in my life, and I wanted better health. I told no one else these things that I outlined to God!

Shortly after stating all that I wanted, I was reading a book by a journalist I admired (Ruth Montgomery) in which she told about mediums and their work. The book was meant to be an expose, but it actually became a means of her enlightenment about communication with people who were in energy/spirit form. At one point in her book, after quoting a particularly enlightening message from someone "on the other side," she said that if she could do this kind of communication, then anyone could. Those words grabbed my attention and did not let go. Finally, after weeks of trying, I could actually "hear" words coming in complete sentences.

Thrilled, yet hesitant about the source of the message, I kept listening and also writing down what came to me. Now I can say to you, if I can do this communication, anyone can. My source referred to himself/herself as a Brother who was part of what I had called "the Holy Spirit." This Brother, one of many, actually was ready to answer all my questions and to help me live my life successfully.
